Won’t get hosed again: Dobbins technician helps fix C-5

Master Sgt. D.J. Little, a 94th Maintenance Squadron hydraulic technician, points out the small space that houses the actuator on a C-5M Super Galaxy at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga. Oct. 6, 2017. Little worked with technicians from Dover Air Force Base, Dela. on creating custom-sized hydraulic hoses to bypass the actuator so that it could be replaced. The actuator is needed to open and close the visor of the aircraft so that cargo can be offloaded. In this case, the cargo included communication equipment for Puerto Rico.
