The MQ-1 Predator is a system, not just an aircraft. A fully operational system consists of four aircraft (with sensors), a ground control station, a Predator Primary Satellite Link, or PPSL, along with operations and maintenance crews for deployed 24-hour operations.

John Collver has an aviation career spanning more than three decades and over 14,000 hours of flight time in over 50 types of aircraft. His career includes time in the Goodyear Blimp, flying for television, as well as teaching and competing in the aerobatic arena. John currently has over 26 years and over 1,000 performances in the Air Show industry. In addition, John formally flew for the Northrop/Grumman corporation Supporting the U.S. Military for over a decade. You can see and meet John at March Air Reserve Base's AirFest 2010 on May 1 and 2. AirFest 2010 is open to the public and admission and parking are free. The base is located in Riverside County.

The Strike Eagle Demonstration Team to fly March Air Reserve Base 2010 Air Show
The F-15E Strike Eagle Demonstration Team will perform at Thunder Over The Empire at March Air Reserve Base on May 1 and 2. The F-15E is a dual-role fighter with two crew members, a pilot and a weapons systems officer, performing air- to-air and air-to-ground missions. An array of avionics and electronics systems gives the F-15E the capability to fight at low altitude, day or night, and in all weather, as well as the capability to fight its way to a target over long ranges, destroy enemy ground positions and fight its way out. The Patriot Jet Demonstration Team to highlight March Air Reserve Base 2010 Air Show
The Patriot Jet Demonstration Team will be the highlight of the March Air Reserve Base air show on May 1 and 2. This will be their only Southern California appearance and their first appearance at the base. The Patriots L-39s electrifies spectators with fast paced formation flying, choreographed four-ship diamond formation aerobatic maneuvers and their signature "Tail Slide" where the aircraft actually slides backwards toward the ground, something not performed by any other jet demonstration team. Performances highlighted by computerized red, white and blue smoke system are flown by lead pilot Dean "Wilbur" Wright, right wingman Rob "Fang" Hutchison, left wingman John "Bordz" Posson and slot pilot Paul "Sticky" Strickland.

Quarterly FOD walk clears ramp of debris
A small group of Airmen patrol a section of the aircraft parking ramp, filling plastic bags with debris that could cause foreign object damage to March’s C-17s or KC-135s.
