Army moves to March ARB
HMMWVs (High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle) are uploading on a C-17 Globemaster III from March Air Reserve Base July15, 2006 at Pt Mugu Naval Air Station, Calif., during the 304th Sustainment Brigade Movement. The primary mission is to move the 304th SBDE from Pt Mugu to March Air Reserve Base.The exercise included training for command and control, air to ground airlift and tanker communications, equipment preparation, joint inspection and rapid simultaneous onload of 5 C-17 chalks of outsized cargo and maintenance recovery and parking planning. Air Force Reserve C-17 moves Army brigade
MARCH AIR RESERVE BASE, Calif. -- Vehicles from the Army Reserve's 304th Sustainment Brigade, based in West Los Angeles, line up to be loaded onto an Air Force Reserve Command C-17 from the 452nd Air Mobility Wing from here July 15, 2006.
