March Airmen take home gold at Judo Winter Nationals

March Air Reserve Base had two of its Airman compete at the USJA/ USJF Judo Winter Nationals December 9, at Azusa Pacific University's Felix Event Center, in Azusa, Ca. Approximately 700 competitors from all over the country as well as different parts of the world such as Europe, Asia, South America, participated in the event.

Master Sgt. Dustin Clocherty, 912th Air Refueling Squadron, and Staff Sgt. Michael Dorsey, 452nd Maintenance Squadron, represented the March Judo Club, and each took first place in their classes.

In addition to the national tournament for all age groups and skill levels, clinics were held on coaching, refereeing, kata, and just about anything pertaining to the study of judo. For more information on the event, visit judowinternationals.com.
