COLONEL DWIGHT D. MEESE
Colonel Dwight D. Meese is Commander of the 452d Maintenance Group, March Air Reserve Base, California. He provides leadership and direction to a group comprised of four squadrons that employ more than 850 Reserve and Regular Air Force and civilian Airmen. He ensures the highest combat readiness capabilities by organizing, training, and equipping all members of the group supporting a fleet of nine C-17A and fourteen KC-135R aircraft for rapid global mobility missions.
Colonel Meese’s maintenance and logistical support experience includes A-10, B-52, C-17, C-130, E-11, F-16, KC-135, MC-12, MQ-1, MQ-9 and U-21 aircraft. He has been a Numbered Air Force A4 Director, Maintenance Group (MXG) Commander, Deputy MXG Commander and has commanded two Maintenance Squadrons (MXS) and an Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS). His deployment experience has included Operations DESERT STORM, RESTORE HOPE and ENDURING FREEDOM, as well as JTFs Provide Relief, Provide Promise, Shining Hope and CJTF-Horn of Africa.
