Marketing efforts have kicked off at March Air Reserve Base for the 2018 Air & Space Expo. The airshow is slated for April 7 and 8th and is shaping up to be a one of the best the base has ever had.
Celebrating it's 100th anniversary, March Field has a long standing relationship with the surrounding communities.
"This is our way of giving back to the community," said Brigadier General Russell Muncy, 4th Air Force Vice Commander. "This show is absolutely free to the public, and it's our humble way of saying thank you for their unwavering support," he continued.
A series of social media advertisements, radio spots, and local television ads will air over the course of the next month leading up to the April show. The number of attendees for the previous airshow in 2016 were upwards of 400,000 people.
