Col. Aldrian completes tour of duty at March Published June 29, 2012 By 452 AMW 452 AMW MARCH AIR RESERVE BASE, CALIF. -- Col. Mary Aldrian received the customary "hose down" by family members as she officially ended her end-of-tour fini flight at March Air Reserve Base, Calif., June 14. Aldrian arrived at March ARB in June 2001 after leaving active duty Air Force. She commented, "My final flight felt very nostalgic. It went amazingly smooth, refueling F-16's. I started flying the KC-135 back in Oct 1988 and with the exception of the cockpit upgrades not much else has changed. When asked what she will miss most about March ARB, Aldrian said that she would miss the people the most. "Remember you can control your attitude but sometimes not much else so, keep a good attitude and show AFRC and AMC what a world class, professional organization the 452 AMW is in the upcoming NORI and ORI," Aldrian said.
