Jumbo greeting cards for Card Lane

MARCH AIR RESERVE BASE, CALIF. --  For the past four years, units on base have been sending holiday cheer to those entering the main gate by decorating large poster boards with holiday themed drawings and paintings. This year, for the first time, the festivities are also open to off-base, civilian organizations that support March and wish to send holiday greetings.

Interested groups can purchase supplies from the Blue Eagles Honor Guard in Building 433. Finished products must be turned in to them no later than Dec. 13.

Only one side of the card can be decorated and must be done vertically, using waterproof, lead-free paint. Any mounted items are to be securely attached. The other side of the card will list the organization's name and a point of contact and phone number.

There is no limit to how many cards a group may decorate. The March Top-Three organization will choose the best card.
