Colonel Davis took command of the 729th Airlift Squadron from Lt. Col. Michael Hames. Colonel Hames is a pilot for Alaska Airlines and has been assigned to March since 1998. Colonel Davis was formerly assigned to Fourth Air Force and in his civilian job, is a pilot for United Airlines.
