They were able to remove over 20 bags of litter. Tech. Sgt. Javier Murillo and Tech. Sgt. Joseph LaRochelle organized the event. "We started at the main installation entry point and worked all the way down to the Cactus off ramp in 100 degree weather," said Tech. Sgt. Murillo, chairman of the unit's Rising Six. "The goal was to remove the trash thus presenting a more professional and positive image to the local community and anyone who drives by our base." Rising Six is an organization comprised of members in the ranks of E-1 to E-6. The organization provides opportunities for community involvement, fund raising, charity, and unit events. All Rising Six events help members grow and develop as Airmen while building unit morale and esprit de corps.
