Team March Participates in Wreaths Across America Published Dec. 19, 2018 By Maj. Perry Covington 452 AMW Public Affairs March Air Reserve Base, Calif. -- On Dec. 15, 2018 members from March Air Reserve Base, Calif. particiapted in the Wreaths Across America campaign at the Evergreen Memorial Park (EMP) in the city of Riverside. It was the first time the park and the Evergreen Memorial Historic Cemetery participated in the campaign and it was supported strongly by the men and women of March ARB. "We had roughly 150 attendees, to include Airmen from the 452d Security Forces Squadron; The Blue Eagles Honor Guard; Cadets from Air Force Junior ROTC Det 92; Camp 18 General George Stoneman Camp, Sons of The Union Veterans of the Civil War, citizens from our local community, and the joint Boards of Directors for Evergreen Memorial Park and Cemetery and Evergreen Memorial Historic Ceremony," said Mr. John Morris, a veteran and EMP Board of Directors member. The cemetery has 1,010 veterans buried there and participants were able to pay tribute to the men and women who have served their country. "We placed 318 wreaths on veteran graves, honoring all of those who gave some, and some who gave their all for our country," Morris continued. "I couldn't be prouder to be amongst my brothers and sister in arms today."
