MARCH AIR RESERVE BASE, CALIF. - March Air Reserve Base is proud to announce that it will host the Southern California Air Show 2023 on April 22 and 23, 2023. The event will run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on both days and is free to the public. The air show is designed to showcase March ARB, the Air Force Reserve, all U.S. military services, and many aviation-related groups located in the Inland Empire and Southern California, as well as international partners.
This will be the first air show since the COVID-19 pandemic and is an opportunity for the public to witness some of the most advanced aircraft and aerial demonstrations, as well as to meet and interact with the men and women who serve our country.
The March Air Show Director Michael Hunter said, “March ARB is thrilled to welcome the public back to the base for the first time in over five years. The team here has been working non-stop for over a year to plan a world-class air show, packed with dozens of aerial acts, static display aircraft, military vehicles, and fun for the whole family. This is our way of giving back to the incredible members of our local community, and I can’t wait to see you all at the show!”
One of the highlights of the event will be the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds aerial demonstration team, which will be performing as the last show on both days. The Canadian SkyHawks Parachute Team and about a dozen civilian acts, including stunt planes and warbirds, will also be performing. Local food and beer vendors, as well as a Kid Zone, will be available for attendees to enjoy.
Gates will open at 8 a.m. and close at 5:30 p.m., with the show starting at 10 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free, but attendees are encouraged to download a "find my car" app to help locate their vehicles in the large parking lot.
