The Patriot Jet Demonstration Team to highlight March Air Reserve Base 2010 Air Show
The Patriot Jet Demonstration Team will be the highlight of the March Air Reserve Base air show on May 1 and 2. This will be their only Southern California appearance and their first appearance at the base. The Patriots L-39s electrifies spectators with fast paced formation flying, choreographed four-ship diamond formation aerobatic maneuvers and their signature "Tail Slide" where the aircraft actually slides backwards toward the ground, something not performed by any other jet demonstration team. Performances highlighted by computerized red, white and blue smoke system are flown by lead pilot Dean "Wilbur" Wright, right wingman Rob "Fang" Hutchison, left wingman John "Bordz" Posson and slot pilot Paul "Sticky" Strickland.
