March Outreach: Cadets securing the Air Force of tomorrow
Cadets from the “Fighting Fifty-fifth,” University of California, Los Angeles, Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps debus in route to the first stop on their base tour, March 28. The cadets received briefings on the aircraft capabilities of the C-17 Globemaster III, KC-135 Stratotanker and alert F-16 Fighting Falcons. The renovation of the March Inn is nearing completion. All major construction projects on the outside are finished, though there are still some minor upgrades on the inside that are being worked. After passing inspection, new furniture will be moved in and the inn’s 25 newly-renovated rooms will be ready for the first overnight guests, since construction began in February 2011.
