Commander Daniel Burns relinquished command of the Navy Operational Support Center, located at March Air Reserve Base, Calif., July 20. Cmdr. Burns culminates 24 years of dedicated service to the U.S. Navy Reserve. His leadership resulted in the command earning consecutive Retention Excellence Awards in 2010 and 2011, as well as the command’s selection as Navy Region Southwest Reserve Component Command’s “Medium Navy Operational Support Center of the Year” for 2010.
