September Blood Drive

Senior Airman Jacob Fejeran, 452nd Aerospace Medicine Squadron, donates blood Sept. 9. The 452 AMDS, partnered with the American Red Cross, Pomona, Calif. division, to sponsor the blood drive at March Air Reserve Base. Team March members donated a total of 50 units, totaling 23,500 milliliters, of blood during the drive. According to its website, the ARC is the largest single supplier of blood and blood products in the United States, collecting and processing more than 40 percent of the blood supply and distributing it to some 3,000 hospitals and transfusion centers nationwide.
