MARCH IN OILS

Riverside resident Helen L. Bell works on an oil painting of March’s historic hangars. Mrs. Bell, the wife of retired Air Force Col. Paul Bell, has captured many of March Field’s historic facilities on canvas, including the wing headquarters building. The original painting hangs in the Hap Arnold House. Mrs. Bell, left, has an impromptu introduction with the new 452nd Air Mobility Wing Commander, Col. Karl McGregor, who observed her painting as he drove down Graeber Street.
