Marine Corps Master Sgt. (ret.) Wayne Harkley was at March Dec. 6 to collect Team March donations for the Toys for Tots program. Here, he poses with representatives from the Top Three and Ris¬ing Six and just a few of the estimated 250 donated toys. Senior Master Sgt. Barbara Morris, who organized the drive, began collecting toys nine months ago. As a single parent, she remembers how hard it was to find money for her kids’ Christmas presents and how appreciative she was when others would assist. This year, with the economic down¬turn, she knew a lot of families would be experiencing financial difficulties and she wanted to give back. Sergeant Morris and Team March members gave so many toys Sergeant Harkley couldn’t fit them all in his vehicle and Sergeant Mor¬ris had to arrange for a second pickup Dec. 9.
