IN RETROSPECT 2007: A collective look at Team March’s missions over the year

Lt. Col. Keith Guillotte (from left) pilot, Staff Sgt. Winston Demmin, crew chief, and Master Sgt. Sebastian Faison, loadmaster, all from the 729th Airlift Squadron, get into character as they have a seat on a period motorcycle. This was day one of their trip to Normandy, France this past June to support the flyovers of the Picauville American Memorial and the Normandy-American Cemetery. The crew said they were overwhelmed by the amazing number of French citizens who dressed like American Soldiers from the D-Day period. The locals had also, over the many years since the war, refurbished an abundant amount of reclaimed U.S. military vehicles – jeeps, tanks, motorcycles, etc. (U.S. Air Force photo)
