Team Navy sunk the competition becoming the 2007 March Air Reserve Base intramural basketball league champions. They ended the season with eight wins and two losses. Last month, the top four teams -- Navy, Defense Media Center, 452nd Maintenance Group and the 729th Airlift Squadron -- began playoffs for the base championship. In the first game, the Navy held their own, beating the 729th 62 to 40 and securing themselves a position in the finale. For the second game of the night, the DMC took on Maintenance. Halftime ended with the DMC barely holding the lead at 25 to 23. Maintenance lost ground in the second half only scoring eight points and DMC took it 50 to 31.
