Autumn Nights

Tech Sgt. Mark Ellis, 452nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, does a little last minute polishing to his 1938 Ford which was featured with many other vehicles in the car show. The 452nd Services Squadron hosted the first Autumn Nights Car Show and Chili Cook-Off Nov. 3. Hundreds of people showed up to LeMay Park to take part in the celebration. For the Chili Cook-Off, the 452nd Fire Department took first place with their smokin’ chili recipe. The 452nd Communications Squadron came in second place and Tahlia Wesley, representing the Army Family Readiness group, took home third. The guests wandered around looking at the various cars on display as well as enjoyed the live entertainment. Food and beverages were also served at the event. The services squadron plans on making this the first of many more Autumn Nights to come. (U.S. Air Force photos by Staff Sgt.Amy Abbott)
