Redeployers, families attend reintegration program

A Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program participant holds a hand-sewn Blue Star banner he was given during last weekend’s event held in the San Diego Bayfront Hilton Hotel. This service flag is an official banner authorized by the Department of Defense for display by families who have members serving in the U.S. Armed Forces during any period of war or hostilities. The free banners were given to parents, spouses and children to display in their home’s window. The Blue Star Banner booth was one of about a dozen vendors who supported the program.
