Senior Airman Lyndsey Wisniewski, 452 AES, receives a plaque and coin from Brig. Gen. James Melin, 452 AMW commander, for her contribution to the Air Force Reserve “Get One” recruitment program. In addition, the award presentation was filmed by a production company which will use the footage to promote the Air Force Reserve. The program is open to all Air Force reservists, with the exception of AFRC Recruiters, their family members and Reserve liaisons. The Get One awards are primarily commemorative coins. For every referral submitted, the reservist receives a Referral Coin Award numbered one through ten, the number corresponding to the number of referrals. Accession coins are fashioned after commander’s coins and are awarded to reservists when a referral turns into an accession. Coins are awarded from one through four accessions. The award for the fifth accession is a leather portfolio and pen and the sixth accession is a pair of pewter steins. For more information go to http://get1now.us (U.S. Air Force photos by Maj.
