BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- Staff Sgt. Kathryn Robinson receives her Purple Heart medal from Col. Lawrence Jackson II, 732nd Expeditionary Mission Support Group commander, for wounds received from small arms fire. Sergeant Robinson was on a cordon and search rescue mission with the military transition teams and Iraqi Army near Baqubah when she was struck by a sniper's bullet in the left forearm and the upper right thumb Feb. 10.
