Two scouts from the Boy Scouts of America, Venturer Crew 488, retire a flag during the eighth Rally ‘Round the Flag dinner at the March Field Air Museum. The event is sponsored by the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee. Col. Jeff Robertson, Fourth Air Force director of staff and the master of ceremonies, provided flag trivia during the event. Guest speaker Brig. Gen. James Melin, 452 AMW commander, explained the significance of honoring the flag. The March ARB Total Force Color Guard opened the ceremony with the presentation of the colors and the Moreno Valley Master Chorale supplied the entertainment with patriotic melodies.
