Master Sgt. Todd Payne, 506th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal flight chief, calls into the Kirkuk Air Base air traffic control tower to get clearance to detonate unexploded ordnance. The EOD personnel destroyed 12 107mm rockets found in downtown Kirkuk, Iraq, Nov. 4, 2003. Such rockets have recently been fired toward military installations in the area.
