Leadership Riverside learns about March Field missions

The 2009 class of Leadership Riverside poses by a Predator static display during their tour of the base last Friday. Leadership Riverside increases participants’ knowledge of local governmental and institutional programs. The Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce has sponsored this program for 17 years. The year-long program informs participants about a wide range of subjects such as: local government, military and homeland security, culture and history, economic development, health, education, social services and recreation. The group visited the 144th Fighter Wing, 163rd Reconnaissance Wing, Defense Media Center, C-17 simulator, Air and Marine Operations Center, sat in an Army HUMVEE and learned how falcons keep birds away from the airfield.
