“Miles of Change” breaks Guinness world record

452d Security Forces Squadron members support Think Together’s “Miles of Change” event recently held at the Fontana Speedway. The event had a two-fold purpose; the first was to recognize the centennial of the penny and the second was to break the current record of 42 miles of pennies layed out. The world record was broken with 65 miles worth of pennies and the feat will be in the Guinness Book of World Records. Those in attendance from the 452nd SFS were Maj. John McDowell, Technical Sgt. David House, Technical Sgt. William Stephens, Staff Sgt. Heather Baptiste, Staff Sgt. Giovanni Moscoso, Staff Sgt. Daniel White and Staff Sgt. Thomas Green. Think Together was founded as an organization to help kids who were struggling in school. It is an after school program that caters to students in Southern California. There were approximately 200 students on hand for the event. (U.S. Air Force courtesy photo)
