The 2008 class of Leadership Riverside poses by a Predator static display during their tour of the base on Friday. Leadership Riverside increases participants’ knowledge of local governmental and institutional programs. The Greater Riverside Chamber of Commerce has sponsored this program for 16 years. The year-long program informs participants about a wide range of subject such as: local government, military and homeland security, culture and history, economic development, health, education, social services and recreation. The group visited the 144th Fighter Wing, 163rd Reconnaissance Wing, KC-135s, C-17s, Defense Media Center, C-17 simulator, Air and Marine Operations Center and experienced a virtual parachute jump.
