HONOR GUARD HOLDS BANQUET

The Base Honor Guard held its Blue Eagles Total Force Honor Guard Awards Banquet at the Hap Arnold Club, Sept. 5. The primary mission of the Honor Guard is to provide military funeral honors. They also support ceremonial functions for military and civilian organizations. The following are this year’s winners with their categories: HG Excellence Award: Jonathan Gaygay, 163 RW/SVF; Leadership Award: Tech. Sgt. Kyle Hollingsworth, 452 MSS; Teammate of the Year: Tech. Sgt. Neil Ballecer, 4 AF; Augmentee of the Year: Staff Sgt. Keith Lawson, 4 AF; Volunteer of the Year: Staff Sgt. Paul Barone, 163 SFS; Rookie of the Year: Staff Sgt. Jed Kutz, 56 APS; Most Improved: SrA Daniel Stephens, 452 SFS; Best Performer: Staff Sgt. Dana Mikles, 452 AMXS; Best Dressed: Staff Sgt. John Ahrens, 56 APS; Most Ceremonies Performed: Tech. Sgt.
