Reserve Citizen Airman Make a Splash in Hollywood
Thousands of cosplayers flooded the Los Angeles Convention Center for the annual L.A. Comic-Con (LACC). Joining them were Reserve Citizen Airman Maj. Perry Covington, 452nd Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs chief, and Master Sgt. Erik Figi, 452 AMW Historian, who co-wrote a screenplay for a serialized sci-fi/fantasy television show steeped in the Steampunk genre called, Evermor.

Co-created by Covington, Figi, and Tya Kottler, proprietor of the Dr. Evermor Sculpture Park in Madison, Wisconsin, Evermor follows teenage twins, Ellie and Sam, who are sent to live at the estate of their eccentric aunt, Dr. Catherine Evermor. There they discover a wondrous machine called the Forevertron, which allows them to journey through the multiverse, finding danger, love, family, the limitless potential of the human adventure, and their ultimate destinies.

Full Time Combat Arms Instructor, MSgt Munoz of the 452nd Security Forces Squadron, leads all SNCOs AFRC wide in this year’s award competition. With a year full of real world exercises here at March ARB, MSgt Munoz and the 452nd SFS have helped the entire wing become Combat Arms compliant within 16 days, averaging over 100 Airmen per day.
