Royal Danish Air Force airshow a success due to 729th and Aeromedical Evacuation
Lt. Col. Keith Guillotte, pilot, 729th Airlift Squadron, was recognized and given a framed photo from the Aalborg base commander as a token of appreciation for attending the airshow. Guillotte received the request to attend and worked feverishly to plan and organize the entire trip. The 729th AS has already been invited back to Aalborg for the 2018 airshow. Cold, rainy weather wasn’t enough to deter large crowds from attending the Royal Danish Air Force airshow at Aalborg Air Base, Denmark, June 10. Royal Danish Air Force airshow a success due to 729th and Aeromedical Evacuation
The March Air Reserve Base C-17 Globemaster III was a very popular attraction and constantly full of excited fans during the Royal Danish Air Force Airshow at Aalborg Air Base, Denmark, June 10. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., civilians and military from all over the world lined up in the rain to get their chance to walk inside the cargo bay. While inside, they were able to take photos and talk to the pilots and loadmasters about the aircraft. Visitors were also able to view the 452 Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron’s air evacuation configuration used when transporting injured troops out of deployed locations.
