MARCH RECEIVES 20TH RIDESHARE VAN
Tech. Sgt. James Pierce, 452nd Aerospace Ground Equipment Shop, inspects march’s 20th vanpooling van upon its delivery to base. Sergeant Pierce volunteered to be the primary driver of the van, which will serve five Team March members who live in eastern Moreno Valley. Paul Pitman, March’s air quality manager, says there is interest in starting March vanpools in the following communities: Simi Valley/Van Nuys, Orange County/Irvine, Riverside, and Corona. Pitman says just four people are needed to start a vanpool. “The objective is getting cars off the road,” he said. (U.S. Air Force photo by Megan Just)
