Will you marry me? Dodger style
An All-Blue occasion, as Dodger fan, Senior Airman Richard Sauceda of the 163d Security Forces took the field at Dodger Stadium to propose to girlfriend and fellow fan, Stephanie O’Hara, May 14. Senior Airman Sauceda was recognized for his military service prior to the game and with the help of the stadium staff was able to surprise O’Hara with a proposal at the same time. Disney supports Reserve and Guard members
Major Gen. William Frink, Jr., Commanding General, 79th Army Reserve Sustainment Support Command, Los Alamitos, Calif., Brig. Gen. Karl McGregor, 452d Air Mobility Wing commander, J. R. Martinez, U.S. Army veteran and actor, and David McGinnis, Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs, attend the Walt Disney Company's "Heroes Work Here" initiative on May 22 at their Burbank, Calif. studios lot. One of the company's goals is to hire 1,000 veterans. More than 300 veterans attended the job event hosted in conjunction with the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger welcomed veterans to the event designed to help attendees sharpen their job-seeking skills. John Collver will throw you for a loop
John Collver has an aviation career spanning more than three decades and over 14,000 hours of flight time in over 50 types of aircraft. His career includes time in the Goodyear Blimp, flying for television, as well as teaching and competing in the aerobatic arena. John currently has over 26 years and over 1,000 performances in the Air Show industry. In addition, John formally flew for the Northrop/Grumman corporation supporting the U.S. Military for over a decade.
