Congratulations to ALS Academy Graduates
SrA Scott Connary, 452 LRS, and SrA Angeline Santos, 752 MDS, graduated from Airman Leadership School (ALS) at Travis AFB on March 26. ALS is a 37-day course of instruction with an emphasis on combat expeditionary leadership and related skills. With a curriculum that involves the whole person, ALS focuses on leader/follower skills, the core values; a fair amount of physical education, including a fit to fight regiment. Congratulations to NCO Academy Graduates
Technical Sgt. Lorenzo Diaz (left), 50th Aerial Port Squadron, and Technical Sgt. Gilbert DeMara, 452 AMW (Chaplain’s Assistant) graduated from the I.G. Brown NCO Academy on April 1. The school is located at McGhee-Tyson ANGB, Knoxville, Tenn. Both completed an intensive six week course study in NCO development subjects, such as military professionalism, Air Force culture, combat leadership skills and physical fitness. Completion of the course is a requirement in order to be promoted to Master Sergeant; in addition, each participant earned 12 college credit hours toward their CCAF degree. (U.S. Air Force photo)

Congratulations to NCO Leadership Course Graduates
The noncommissioned Officer Leadership and Development Class graduation was held March 27. Over the course of two weeks, 21 class members learned about supervision, communication theory, management, leadership and how to handle stress in the workplace. All graduates will receive two hours credit for management and communication with the Community College of the Air Force.
