Airmen in the fight
Members from the 452nd Air Mobility Wing teamed with the 445th Airlift Wing, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, and the 940th Air Refueling Wing from Beale AFB, Calif., at Gulfport, Miss., last week where they participated in a week-long Operational Readiness Exercise. The ORE was conducted as training for the wings’ upcoming Operational Readiness Inspection in February. Inspectors observed not only the unit’s mission task lists but also their common core standards. The ORE gave the three wings the opportunity to work as a team, fi nd areas where improvement was needed and polish skills that might be a bit rusty. Unlike the ORI, this deployment exercise was not graded. (U.S. Air Force photos by Staff Sgt. Hector Garcia)
