Air Mobility Commander, Gen. Raymond E. Johns, visits March Air Reserve Base
Lt. Col. Kurt E. Driskill, 336th Air Refueling Squadron commander, presents a 336 ARS framed KC-135R lithograph to Gen. Raymond E. Johns, Jr., during a recent base visit. The lithograph was presented as a token of appreciation for General Johns taking the time to visit the squadron, said Colonel Driskill. The general was made an “Honorary RRAT” (Riverside Air Refueling Transport squadron), which is the unit’s call sign, meaning General Johns is welcome to fly with the squadron anytime. General Johns’ trip to March, which also included a tour of 452nd Air Mobility Wing Headquarters, the 729th Airlift Squadron, 752nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, the deployment center and the Gilley House, allowed him to get acquainted with the troops and missions under his command.
