A new ATM for March
Rich Swatman of Tech Trend Security puts the finishing touches on the new Visterra ATM kiosk on Graeber Street. Tanya Price, Assistant Manager of the Cactus Boulevard Visterra branch, said the old kiosk was beginning to look worn out and the credit union wanted March to have a new one. Bob Hill, the graphic artist who designed the exterior of the kiosk, uses an image of a C-17 assigned to the 729th Airlift Squadron on the front and the image of historic planes on the back. BLUE EAGLES AIRMAN PICKED FOR HONOR GUARD AWARD
Staff Sgt. Charles N. Sibus (right), a ceremonial guardsman, recently received the 2009 Edwards Air Force Base Honor Guard Member of the Year category award for his professional accomplishments in leadership, operation and management to the Military Funeral Honors program. Sergeant Sibus is one of seven active duty members assigned to the 95th Force Support Squadron at Edwards AFB. Colonel Sanchez promoted
Eddie Sanchez, commander of the 452nd Aeromedical Staging Squadron, hugs his wife, Maria Sanchez, during his promotion to colonel March 28 in the Cultural Resources Center. Colonel Sanchez’s wife, mother and two children pinned on his new insignia. Colonel Sanchez has been in the Air Force since 1978 and at March Air Reserve Base since Aug. 2008. NCO INDUCTION CEREMONY
New March ARB noncommissioned officers take an oath during the NCO Induction Ceremony at the Cultural Resources Center, March 28. The Induction Ceremony is an Air Force tradition which serves as a rite of passage to those selected for advancement in the noncommissioned officer corps and the senior noncommissioned officer corps.
