The Marines are stationed at 29 Palms, Calif., and had been pulling a combat tour in the Middle East. Volunteer Laura Froehlich (center) and John Martin (left) from the base fire department were joined by several siren-blaring fire trucks to greet the troops as they stepped off the aircraft and back onto American soil.
