Comm Flight in the Fight
Senior Airman May Mclinden, 452nd Communications Squadron, Communications Focal Point section, does touch maintenance to patch a computer issue that prevents Tech. Sgt. Jose Mora, 452nd Maintenance Squadron, from telecommuting during the COVID-19 pandemic. The CFP provides technical support over the phone and in person to help ensure March Air Reserve Base personnel have telework capabilities, to include Virtual Private Networks and Desktop Anywhere. The CFP staff follows DOD and CDC guidelines to limit the possible spread of the virus, following precautionary steps such as wiping computer systems before and after maintenance, washing hands after working on each computer, and maintaining six feet of separation from coworkers and customers.
