F-18 to perform at March Air Reserve Base Airshow
On May 19 & 20, 2012 , the base has scheduled, what is expected to be, its largest air show. The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will be the highlight of the show. The U.S. Navy's F-18 also will perform.

F-22 gets synthetic blend
A KC-135 from the 336 ARS at the base refuels an F-22 from Edwards AFB with a new synthetic fuel which will decrease the Air Force’s dependence on foreign oil. It was the first time the new synthetic fuel was used in an air refueling as well as the first time a KC-135 flew using it. The pilots from both aircraft reported that everything went smoothly. F-35 Refueling
An F-35A Lightning II approaches a KC-135 Stratotanker during aerial refueling May 13, 2013, near Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The initial cadre of Air Force F-35 instructor pilots at the 33rd Fighter Wing recently qualified in aerial refueling for the joint strike fighter. Fantasy Flight
Professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and Air Force Reserve F-16 pilot Maj. Jason Smith are ready to talk to the cameras just minutes after landing at March Air Reserve Base, Sept. 10, 2009. Dyrdek, the star of MTV’s reality television program "Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory," spent much of the week preparing for the flight. With Dyrdek in the rear seat of the F-16, Major Smith executed a refueling with a 336th Air Refueling Squadron KC-135 Stratotanker while Dyrdek’s co-star, Chris “Drama" Pfaff, aboard the KC-135, watched from the boom pod.

Farewell, Colonel Barnson
Colonel Jeff Barnson, 452 AMW vice commander, and his wife, Kelly, accept a going away gift from Brig. Gen. James Melin, 452 AMW commander, on behalf of the men and women of the wing during Col.
