March C-17 and crew held hostage
Actors portrayed South Sudanese service members taking an offensive stance towards a U.S. military C-17 on their airfield, during filming for the Air Force’s Cultural and Language Center’s video series on cultural awareness, shot on base March 21. The footage completes the fourth and final video segment following Rwanda, Nigeria and Morocco, said Christine Frye, production coordinator, Combat Media. March moves important Navy passengers

Eight Navy dolphins, from Naval Air Station North Island, Coronado, Calif., were uploaded onto a March Air Reserve Base C-17 Globemaster III and flown to Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, March 26, 2012. The cargo bay was full of personnel and equipment needed to support the dolphins. During the six-hour flight everything revolved around ensuring the dolphins were comfortable and taken care of.
