CFC deadline extended
March Combined Federal Campaign Chair Susan Blum has extended the pledge deadline from Nov. 20 to Nov. 22 to give reservists on the B UTA weekend a chance to contribute to the campaign. As of Nov. 19, March has reached 40% of its $125,000 goal. Blum doesn’t want Team March members who miss the new Nov. 22 deadline to be excluded from this year’s drive. “Key workers will continue delivering incentive gifts to contributors through early December and they can collect any last-minute contribution forms too,” she said. For more information, contact your unit’s CFC key worker. (U.S. Air Force photographic by Megan Just)

CFC fundraiser
Oriana Moy places a grilled hot dog into a bun for Staff Sgt. Megan Crusher during a Combined Federal Campaign fund raiser at the March Inn Nov. 6. Services personnel Jackie MacGowan, Cheryl McDowell and Moy served hotdog/chip/soda packages for a recommended donation of $4.50 and root beer floats for $3.00. Participants chose which of eight CFC non-profit organizations they wanted their donation to benefit. The donations were then compiled and submitted to the charities via CFC pledge forms. The three women, who are also CFC Key Workers, have organized the Diggity Dog fund raiser since 2006 and pay for all costs out of their own pockets. The fund raiser is part of the base-wide campaign. The women will be serving hotdogs and ice cream floats again Nov. 13, in the March Inn Courtyard from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (U.S. Air Force photo by Megan Just)
