General Melin re-enlists 10 Security Forces Airmen
Master Sgt. Moffit jokes with his fellow Airmen as he signs re-enlistment documents for the last time. “It’s a milestone that is finally coming to an end,” he said. “It’s even more exciting having the general do the last one.” After this enlistment is over, Moffit will have completed 33 years of service. Employers receive red carpet, firsthand look at base
The 452nd Air Mobility Wing recently hosted a group of 41 civilian employers at the base as part of the annual Employers’ Orientation program. After the base mission briefing and the ESGR (Employers Support of the Guard and Reserve) discussion, the employers flew either on a KC-135, pictured, or a C-17. The program’s goal is to educate civilian employers and help them understand how they can support the military careers of their civilian employees who are members of the Air Force Reserve Command.
