Commissary opens doors to kids for produce fun

40 YEARS OF CIVIL SERVICE
During the civilian commander’s call June 22, Col. Karl McGregor, 452nd Air Mobility Wing commander, presented Mr. Donald Combs with a pin and certificate honoring his 40 years of civil service. Combs enlisted in the Air Force in 1967 as a telephone cable splicer and served in Vietnam in 1968. He later entered civil service and has worked in the field of communications since. “We installed base telephone cables all over the world,” he said. In addition to the travel, Combs said he’s most enjoyed the people he’s been able to work with over the years. Combs is the chief of plans and programs at the 452nd Communications Squadron.
