729th change of command

After the air show
Team March members drop off bags containing trash they found on the ramp during the base-wide, after air show foreign object damage walk. 4AF/AMOC team wins 2010 volleyball championship
The members of Fourth Air Force/Air Marine Operations Center team were the victors in the championship volleyball game against the 163rd Reconnaissance Wing team. The league, which began Feb. 23, had 102 players on six teams, which is a two-team increase from the previous three years. Team practices were held based on team members’ availability, with games on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. The 4 AF/AMOC team also earned a trophy for having the best standings in the league at the end of the season. Aerobathon Limbo
Mrs. Paez demonstrate just how low she can go during a round of limbo that was the final event in the "Old School Aerobathon" at the March Air Reserve Base Fitness and Sports Center. The Fitness Center organizes the two-hour Aerobathons quarterly as a way to create fun and challenging workout from a variety of types of exercise. Fifteen Team March members participated in the May Aerobathon, which included spinning, cardio kickboxing, mat work and limbo. Upcoming at the Fitness Center is a morning bike ride, bench press competition and a three-point shoot out competition. (U.S. Air Force photo)

Staff Sgt. Aja Smith, 50th Aerial Port Squadron, holds a luminary bag she decorated in memory of her grandfather, a chief master sergeant who retired after a 30-year career in the Army Air Corps and Air Force. Sergeant Smith said her grandfather was a World War II, Korea and Vietnam veteran. He was first diagnosed with cancer in the early 1980s and battled it until he passed away in 2007.
